J.B. Dean is an author and illustrator known for creating imaginative book series that invite young readers to explore, choose, and dream. Her interactive Journey Jumper series lets readers become the hero and shape the story through different choices and endings, while Journey Jumper Jr. introduces the concept to younger readers. She is also the creator of Pig Tail Tales, featuring Ruffles, a pig whose super-long tail often leads him into trouble; Monster Copy, a creepy, eerie, and adventurous series for kids; Intergalactic Parcel Patrol, about siblings delivering parcels across the universe; and You Should Know About, a biography series celebrating heroes from history. Dean holds a B.A. in Graphic Design and Creative Writing.
